Modem launches X integration for customer feedback monitoring
Modem announced an X integration that monitors customer posts, groups relevant reports into topics, and surfaces them in Slack for follow-up. Available with paid Modem subscriptions, it can be enabled through Settings, Integrations, and X, with saved queries determining which posts are captured. The vendor says its agent connects feedback to Linear issues and GitHub pull requests, then identifies where completed fixes should be communicated.
The integration expands Modem's customer-feedback workflow beyond support tickets and other channels to include relevant X posts, although its availability and reported effectiveness are supported only by Modem's announcement.
The X integration is included with paid Modem subscriptions. Turn it on in Settings → Integrations → X.
Responding to customers on X is hard, which is why it stands out when a team gets it right. In September, David Cramer posted a complaint about Muse. Cosmo Du replied that a fix was coming, then came back to the thread when it shipped:
Tbqh I don’t understand any company that doesn’t interact on X with customers at this point 👌 Muse shipping fixes David Cramer (@zeeg) September 13, 2026
Most teams lose track of posts like David's. The post scrolls away, the person who saw it isn't the one who fixed the bug, and by the time the fix ships nobody remembers who asked.
Modem now records X posts the same way it records support tickets, so the people who asked are still on file when the fix ships.
