Amp becomes an assignable agent inside Linear
Amp's blog announced that Amp is now an agent in Linear. Assigning a Linear issue to Amp starts a new Agent Session in Linear and spawns a new orb, and users can also mention @Amp to kick off a session. Amp sends its response back into the same session and replies to messages sent along the way, while the Agent Session also appears in the Amp sidebar and is fully viewable in Amp. Setup requires installing the Amp agent in a Linear workspace and connecting an Amp account to the Linear MCP under Settings → MCP & Integrations.
The integration lets Linear issues be handed directly to Amp as agent sessions, keeping the Linear conversation and the same session in Amp's sidebar in sync.
