- AWS brings Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to China regions
Amazon Web Services said Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, its fully managed platform for deploying and operating AI agents, is now generally available in the China (Beijing) region operated by Sinnet and the China (Ningxia) region operated by NWCD. It ships with six capabilities: a serverless microVM-based Runtime with up to eight hours of runtime support, Gateway, Identity, Browser Tools, Code Interpreter and Observability. The report cites customers including Ericsson, Sony and Cox Automotive, which it says moved 17 enterprise agent solutions into production in under a year.
智东西 · 🔥 6 - One prompt hijacked every AgentCore agent in an AWS account, Zenity says
Security firm Zenity Labs published research on a vulnerability chain it calls "AgentCorruption": chat access to a single public Amazon Bedrock AgentCore agent was enough to trick it, in plain language, into querying the instance metadata service at 169.254.169.254 and sending its own temporary AWS credentials to an external server. Using AgentCore's overly broad default execution role, the researchers then listed and invoked every agent in the same account and region, downloaded their source code and container images, read private user-agent conversations and secrets from AWS Secrets Manager, and poisoned long-term memory to make the hijack persistent. Zenity says it reported the findings to AWS on 25 December 2025; AWS has since made IMDSv2 the default for new AgentCore deployments and narrowed the default role.
The Decoder · 🔥 8 - Sony patent outlines AI bosses that learn player habits mid-fight
Sony Interactive Entertainment has published a patent application titled "AI-adapted non-player character for video game system," describing machine learning that lets NPCs and bosses dynamically adjust their behavior based on player performance. The system collects data such as player reaction speed, dodge/block/parry success rates, weapons and items used, and retry counts, while also analyzing which boss attacks are commonly evaded or countered, then uses the results to modify character behavior — potentially in real time during a fight. The filing also mentions NPC dialogue, appearance and voice traits such as pitch and volume changing with player behavior; it remains a patent application only.
cnBeta · 🔥 3 - AI-assisted PS5 jailbreaks reportedly accelerate emulator installs
A report says PS5 modders have used AI tools to install emulators rapidly as jailbreaks spread across social media. Games requiring newer firmware remain inaccessible, while Sony and hackers continue their apparent cat-and-mouse struggle.
