Vectorize releases open-source Hindsight agent memory system
Vectorize.io has released Hindsight, an MIT-licensed agent memory system designed to help agents learn over time rather than merely recall conversation history. It includes documentation, SDKs, a built-in MCP server, deployment options, more than 60 integrations, a cookbook, benchmark materials, a paper, and Hindsight Cloud. Vectorize.io says Hindsight achieved state-of-the-art performance on the LongMemEval benchmark; the report states that its benchmark data was independently reproduced by researchers at the Virginia Tech Sanghani Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics and by The Washington Post. The report also says Hindsight is used in production at Fortune 500 enterprises, although it provides no details independently substantiating that adoption claim.
Hindsight offers an MIT-licensed, self-hostable option for adding persistent memory to agents, with SDKs, an MCP server, deployment support and integrations for major coding agents and agent frameworks. Its reported LongMemEval performance and production adoption could make it relevant to developers evaluating agent-memory infrastructure.
