Apple reportedly plans M7-powered MacBook Pro models for next year
Mark Gurman reported that Apple plans to introduce an M7-powered version of the base MacBook Pro next year, adopting the thinner, lighter design and slimmer bezels of recently unveiled high-end models. He also reported that a second-generation touchscreen MacBook Pro powered by M7 Pro and M7 Max is expected next year. Gurman previously reported that Apple could skip the M6 Pro and M6 Max and move directly to the M7 family as early as the first half of next year.
The reported roadmap would extend the M7 family from the base MacBook Pro to models using M7 Pro and M7 Max. Gurman said the M7 line is designed primarily around major advances in on-device AI processing.
