For the average Gemini user, the sheer power of the new Gemini 4 Argon model begs the question: why do you need it?

Google has made Gemini 4 Argon readily available in the Gemini app for Google AI Pro or Ultra subscribers. Simply pick it from the list of models available at the top of the conversation. Google brags about the model's advanced reasoning, multi-step problem-solving, and other improvements provided by the sophisticated AI, but it's a little much for helping write an email.

Whether Argon can outperform its predecessors on complicated benchmarks is less interesting than figuring out what to do with all this additional AI power.
