Microsoft upgrades Copilot Notebooks with task delegation and Office editing
Microsoft is upgrading Copilot Notebooks with the ability to delegate tasks to Copilot, set up recurring automations such as daily briefings and weekly status reports, and generate interactive reports with data visualizations and filters. Users can now open and edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint files directly inside a notebook instead of switching to the corresponding Office apps. Audio Overviews gain more Microsoft 365 sources including Teams chats and Outlook mail plus new "Critique" and "Debate" formats, users can pick between models from OpenAI and Anthropic, and the features are rolling out in stages through Microsoft's Frontier preview program.
In-place document editing, recurring automation and interactive reports push Notebooks from a research assistant toward a platform that completes work, sharpening its contrast with the more retrieval-focused NotebookLM.

根据微软最新披露的信息，Copilot Notebooks 将新增多项能力，包括委派任务给 Copilot、直接在 Notebooks 中编辑 Office 文件，以及生成交互式报告等。
