Turkey Investigates Google Search AI Features
Turkey’s Competition Authority has opened an investigation into Google Search's “AI Overviews” and “AI Mode” to assess whether they violate the country’s competition law. According to IT之家 AI, the review covers traffic effects on publishers and other creators, content-licensing terms, exclusivity involving publishers and AI chatbots, and possible differential treatment in selecting or licensing content. The regulator also says it will impose interim measures governing Google’s use of publisher content in AI-powered search.
The investigation adds interim oversight of Google’s AI search practices, with publisher traffic, content licensing and exclusivity at the center of the review.

该机构同时表示，由于现有迹象表明谷歌搜索 AI 功能高度疑似存在针对新闻出版商的排他和剥削行为，将对谷歌实施一项临时监管措施，规范其在人工智能驱动的搜索中使用新闻出版商内容的行为。
