Jensen Huang's son-in-law rises to NVIDIA VP as family roles draw scrutiny
Citing The Information, TMTPost reports that NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang's eldest daughter, Madison Huang, married Nico Caprez, her London Business School classmate and now NVIDIA's vice president of global AI infrastructure growth. The report says Caprez joined NVIDIA in early 2024 and was promoted from director straight past senior director to vice president, and was a core driver of deals including credit support for Australian AI cloud provider Firmus and a computing-finance platform with Blackstone, Goldman Sachs and other institutions. Madison Huang is now senior director of physical AI product marketing covering Omniverse, robotics and simulation, while her brother Spencer Huang is a director of robotics product management; NVIDIA says the siblings' pay was set without Jensen Huang's involvement and on terms identical to unrelated staff in the same roles, but the family's concentration in core positions has still prompted questions about hiring and succession.
As NVIDIA's market value and AI infrastructure business expand, family members in key roles keep the company's governance and succession arrangements under outside scrutiny.
