Tencent to Shut Down QClaw and Migrate Users to WorkBuddy
Tencent announced that QClaw will stop operating on December 24, 2026, after reaching public beta on March 20. The company will provide a tool for migrating users’ data to WorkBuddy, while Qwen Go! is an announced personal assistant intended to handle tasks such as flight-delay claims, price comparisons and phone bookings; the latter capabilities were not independently tested.
QClaw’s shutdown after 188 days from public beta, together with Tencent’s migration path to WorkBuddy, shows how quickly standalone AI assistant products are being folded into broader platforms.
