   Yingsu Opens Simulation-Focused Embodied AI Data Center in Hangzhou

   雷峰网 reported that Yingsu opened China’s first simulation-focused embodied AI data collection center in Hangzhou on October 29. The center combines three-dimensional scene reconstruction and generation, real-space data, generative world models and simulation to create editable, reusable and scalable environments. Yingsu says the facility aims to produce one million hours of data per month.

   Humanoid robot boom meets commercialization reality

The column also cites more than 20 robotics companies entering bankruptcy, dissolution, liquidation, or business-line closure between February 2025 and September 2026, and reports that several large orders did not translate into substantial operating results. It says demand remains concentrated in research, commercial performances, and data collection, while some unnamed investors have stopped submitting humanoid-robotics projects for approval after Unitree’s listing.

   Deep Robotics announces five DEEPRobotics-Brain research results

   Deep Robotics announced five coordinated research results within its DEEPRobotics-Brain embodied-AI architecture: the DR-WM-1.0 world model, DR-VLA-2.0 foundation model, DR-Agent navigation agent, DR-APO policy-optimization framework and DR-Benchmark data platform. The reported work includes physical-property priors, a dataset of 10,000 hours of human first-person video, and navigation results in simulation and on the company’s Lynx M20 robot.

   JD expands robot maintenance service and Europe plans

   JD has operated a robot maintenance service under the JD Service brand for about a year, and the report says nearly 100 robot companies, including AgiBot, Deep Robotics and EngineAI, have reached after-sales repair partnerships with it. JD also launched the JoyRobocare brand for Europe and introduced an on-site “robot ambulance” service, while stating that it aims to create 100,000 robot technician positions over five years through training frontline workers.

   Deep Robotics Updates STAR Market IPO Prospectus

   Deep Robotics updated its prospectus on September 28 as it seeks an IPO on the Science and Technology Innovation Board, according to TMTPost. The filing says first-half 2026 revenue reached 259 million yuan, up 117.67% year over year, but the company reported an 8.81 million yuan loss after achieving a 28.68 million yuan attributable profit in 2025. It plans to raise 2.503 billion yuan, including 1.169 billion yuan for embodied algorithms and models and 554 million yuan for robot bodies and solutions.

   DEEP Robotics tests DR02 humanoid directing traffic in Hangzhou rain

   DEEP Robotics ran field trials of its DR02 humanoid robots in early October in Hangzhou's Xihu District, testing them at busy intersections such as Zheda Road and West Wenyi Road and at tourist sites including Xixi National Wetland Park, where they directed traffic and handled visitor questions in heavy rain. The IP66-rated robot uses environmental perception and motion control to navigate around pedestrians and vehicles while adjusting its position and hand signals, and the company says it can spot riders without helmets, overloaded vehicles and line-crossing pedestrians and issue voice reminders. DEEP Robotics framed the trials as product testing and released no figures on accuracy, uptime, cost savings or traffic-flow improvement, so they do not establish a commercial deployment or a replacement for human officers.
