Tencent's WorkBuddy announced on October 16 that it has adapted ahead of time to Apple's first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, detailing six ways to use it: an expanded inner-screen workspace, one-handed task dispatch from the cover screen, split-screen chatting with the AI while a report is drafted, cross-app drag-and-drop of material into the conversation, half-fold hover with output on top and controls below, and a tent mode for hands-free viewing. The iPhone Duo opened for pre-order on October 16 starting at 15,999 yuan in China, with a 7.6-inch 1878×2670 120Hz inner display using an under-display camera and a 5.4-inch 1398×2034 120Hz cover screen, both always-on and rated up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. It runs an A20 Pro chip with a large VC vapor chamber, which the report says Apple claims brings a 35% sustained-performance gain over the iPhone 17 Pro, and supports running two apps at once and half-folded use.
