Utopai X ranks second on AI video leaderboard as PAI targets film production
Utopai Studios' video model Utopai X scored 1,150 Elo on Artificial Analysis's text-to-video-with-audio leaderboard (dated Sept 29, 2026), placing second behind Wan 3.0 and ahead of Dreamina Seedance 2.5. The studio pairs the post-trained model with PAI, a production system that keeps scripts, character and scene assets, shot lists and revision history in one workspace. It says three features — Cortés, Half Moon and The Most Serious Fart — are planned for 2027 theatrical release, and it has partnered with Japan's DeNA to trial PAI in animation production.
It illustrates how production workflow and project memory, not just raw generation quality, are being pitched as the path from AI video clips to actual filmmaking.

我们发现，Utopai 把模型放进 PAI 制作系统，让剧本、角色、场景、镜头和修改记录持续关联，再由导演、编剧、制片和后期团队作出选择。
模型负责生成电影素材，PAI 负责把素材组织成一条专业生产线。而这，似乎提供了一条从“能生成镜头”走向“能参与电影生产”的新路径。
