Zhongxingwei launches China's first PCIe 6.0 switch and 800G AI NIC
Chinese interconnect chip maker Zhongxingwei held its first brand and full-stack product launch in Wuxi, showing 12 mass-produced chips and releasing three new products: what it calls China's first PCIe 6.0 Switch (C82-4G), its first 800G multi-protocol AI NIC, and a multi-mode RAID chip. The C82-4G supports up to 144 PCIe 6.0 lanes at 64 GT/s per lane, double PCIe 5.0, plus Fabric networking and CXL memory pooling; the 800G AI NIC integrates a 48-lane PCIe Gen6 switch, targets Hygon CPUs and next-generation Compute Tray supernode architectures, and supports RoCE v2 and VeRoCE offload with hardware packet spraying, out-of-order reassembly and programmable congestion control. The company said it shipped more than 400,000 chips in 2025 with over 1 billion yuan in sales and more than 800,000 cumulative units, and claims its multi-mode RAID chip roughly doubles overseas advanced products and delivers up to a 47% write-bandwidth edge over Broadcom in a 16-drive RAID5 256KiB sequential write test; those comparisons come from the vendor.
High-end interconnect has long been dominated by overseas vendors, so domestic PCIe 6.0 switch and 800G AI NIC options give Chinese AI cluster builders another component to evaluate for device and network fabric.
