   Baidu Dazi and Lenovo Kaitian launch full-stack domestic AI agent workstation

   At a Baidu Dazi product launch event on October 21, Baidu Dazi and Lenovo Kaitian announced what they describe as the first full-stack domestically built general-purpose AI agent workstation. According to 36Kr, the machine combines Lenovo Kaitian hardware, the Tianxi AI Pro base and Baidu Dazi, supports Kylin and UnionTech operating systems, and is adapted for domestic GPUs including Hygon BW100 and Iluvatar CoreX Zhikai 100, with models and runtime preinstalled for out-of-the-box use. Baidu Dazi also said it now fully supports domestic IT application innovation and has been listed on Lenovo Kaitian's Tianxi store, the Kylin Software Store and the UnionTech app store; these product details come from the vendors' presentation and were not independently verified.

   Nanjing medical world model forum unveils six releases

   On the afternoon of October 19, 2026, a medical-health world model session of the 2026 Physical AI and World Model Conference was held at the Nanjing International Expo Center, focused on disease-state evolution, intervention-response simulation, medical knowledge modeling and healthcare data security. The session announced six sets of results: a joint plan to build high-quality medical world model datasets, a medical-health world model appliance, five chronic-disease world models released by Jiangsu Province Hospital with Nanjing Trusted Data Services, a thalassemia screening world model, a medical world model data foundation, and applied products from Neusoft and Nanjing Hanwei. The report also states that these results still need external validation, clinical evaluation and ongoing regulatory oversight, and that model simulation cannot replace doctors' clinical decisions.

   China's Zhongxingwei unveils first domestic PCIe 6.0 switch, 800G AI NIC

   Wuxi-based Zhongxingwei used its first brand and full-stack product launch to show 12 mass-produced interconnect chips and introduce three new products: the C82-4G, described as China's first domestic PCIe 6.0 switch, an 800G multi-protocol AI NIC and a multi-mode RAID chip. According to Zhidx and QbitAI, the C82-4G supports up to 144 PCIe 6.0 lanes at 64 GT/s per lane, plus Fabric networking and CXL memory pooling, while the 800G NIC integrates a 48-lane PCIe Gen6 switch and supports both InfiniBand and RoCE. Zhongxingwei says cumulative shipments have passed 800,000 chips, with products used by Inspur, Lenovo, H3C and ZTE, and it signed strategic agreements with seven partners including Kylin, UnionTech and Tencent Cloud; the performance comparisons in the reports are vendor-supplied and not independently verified.
