NIO Adds Door-Opening Warning Imaging Across Models
NIO founder and chairman Li Bin said the vehicle-wide door-opening warning imaging feature can display the corresponding side-rear exterior view on the center or rear control screen when a passenger unfastens their seat belt or prepares to open a door. When a collision risk is detected, the system issues light and sound warnings. The screen can split to show both sides when passengers on the left and right prepare to exit. Powered by the Shenji NX9031 chip, the feature is available on the new ES8, ET9 and ES9, the 2025 and 2026 ES6 and EC6, and the 2026 Onvo L60, L80 and L90. Users can manually enable or disable it through the vehicle settings menu.
The feature gives passengers an additional visual and audible aid for checking nearby traffic before opening a door. Li Bin said it is intended to reduce the risk of accidents caused by opening doors, while warning that drivers and passengers must still observe their surroundings themselves.
10月28日，蔚来创始人、董事长李斌发文介绍“全车开门预警影像”功能。该功能可在乘员准备下车时显示对应侧的车外画面，并在检测到开门存在碰撞风险时，通过灯光和声音发出提醒，帮助乘员观察周边路况，降低“开门杀”风险。
据李斌介绍，乘员在车内解开安全带或准备开门时，车辆可将对应侧的侧后方影像显示在中控屏或后排控制屏上。若同一时间左右两侧均有乘员准备下车，屏幕还可分区显示两侧画面。
该功能依托神玑NX9031芯片的能力，目前已覆盖全新ES8、ET9、ES9，蔚来2025款及2026款ES6、EC6，以及乐道2026款L60、L80、L90等车型。用户也可通过车辆“设置—安全—开门预警影像”菜单手动开启或关闭该功能。
李斌表示，开门预警影像旨在为乘员下车时观察周边环境提供更多参考，同时提醒用户，辅助功能不能替代自身观察，下车前仍需留意周围交通情况。
