Rockwell announces FactoryTalk Conductor industrial AI platform
Rockwell Automation announced FactoryTalk Conductor, an AI-native orchestration platform designed to coordinate engineering work across the industrial automation lifecycle. According to Rockwell, users can start engineering tasks with natural language, while planned integrations cover design, development, simulation and testing with Studio 5000 Logix Designer, Logix Echo, Emulate3D and FactoryTalk Optix. The platform is scheduled to debut at Automation Fair 2026 in Boston and enter general availability in Q1 2027.
The announcement extends AI agents and natural-language workflows into industrial engineering software, while Rockwell says the platform can connect chosen language models, including locally deployed open-weight models, to customer-governed AI services.
