Alibaba Cloud Restructures Qoder as QoderWork Winds Down
Alibaba Cloud announced that QoderWork will gradually wind down, with a final shutdown scheduled for September 5, 2027, as users are directed to the Qoder desktop client for development work or Qianwen Office for general office tasks. Qoder disclosed at the September Yunqi Conference that annualized recurring revenue had reached US$100 million, while May official data showed enterprise customers supplied 70% of revenue; these figures were not independently verified. The Quest standalone window is also being retired, with task-oriented users steered to the new Qoder.
QoderWork’s shutdown and dual migration path directly affect enterprise subscriptions, account continuity, task records and organization data for users of Alibaba Cloud’s AI coding product.
