开发者用Opus 5.5以Rust重造7款Adobe应用，实测尚不成熟
一位自称有15年从业经验的开发者借助 Claude Opus 5.5，用纯原生 Rust 重写了 Photoshop、Premiere Pro、Lightroom、Illustrator、Acrobat Pro、After Effects 和 InDesign 这7款 Adobe 主力应用，统称 ArtCraft（含 PhotoCraft、FilmCraft 等），免费、跨 Windows/Mac/Linux 并另有网页版。TechRadar 实测 PhotoCraft 与 FilmCraft 后指出：安装包极小（约80–90MB，而 Photoshop 为6.4GB），界面熟悉、启动快，但 PhotoCraft 无法读取 HEIC、椭圆选择工具不稳定、保存只能输出 JPG；FilmCraft 无法拖拽修剪片段，且播放音频全是刺耳噪音。目前 PhotoCraft 版本为0.20、FilmCraft 为0.2.1，作者认为远未达到可日常使用的程度，暂时不建议用它替代 Adobe 或 DaVinci Resolve 等成熟方案。
它展示了AI辅助编程已能让个人开发者尝试重建大型创意软件，但功能完整度与稳定性仍是最现实的瓶颈。
An AI developer has taken on Adobe, the undisputed 800-lbs gorilla of the creative software space. Announcing the 'launch' over on Reddit, the "a 15-year industry veteran" explained that he used Opus 5.5 to help "recreate 7 of the top Adobe apps in 100% pure native Rust".
Adobe's all-consuming subscriptions seems to be the main reason for recreating Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, After Effects, and InDesign using the modern programming language.
That's something I can fully appreciate. After all, what if you’re not a fan of their business practices, like charging you a fair chunk of change every month to be able to use their software, and the moment you stop paying, you can no longer work on your files and projects?
So, of course, I just had to check out how it compares to Adobe's own creative suite.
ArtCraft: New apps for the same job
The ArtCraft names are pretty self-explanatory: PhotoCraft is for images, LightCraft for image cataloguing, VectorCraft for vectors, DesignCraft for desktop publishing, FilmCraft for filmmaking, EffectCraft for creating special effects, and PrintCraft is for working with PDFs.
