NVIDIA showcases GPT-6 Astra agents building Omniverse simulations
An NVIDIA blog post shows developers directing frontier models such as GPT-6 Astra with natural-language prompts while the agents wire together NVIDIA Omniverse libraries for physics (ovphysx), rendering (ovrtx), scene updates (ovstage) and UI (ovui). Seven projects are described, including a warehouse humanoid simulator, an autonomous-driving test workflow, sensor digital-twin calibration, a Robo Olympics experiment, robotic disassembly, a browser-based International Space Station model and a captured-room rebuild. NVIDIA says one engineer guided agents to create two digital twins from scratch and improve two existing ones in about three days, while in another experiment a simulated Unitree G1 humanoid cleared a single hurdle in 64 of 100 trials.
It illustrates a practical pattern for using general frontier models as simulation orchestrators on top of specialized physics and rendering libraries, a useful reference for robotics and autonomous-driving workflows.
