Tencent Hunyuan launches Hy4 with vision and computer use
Tencent Hunyuan released Hy4, adding vision perception and computer use across command-line and graphical interfaces to the 770B-parameter model. Tencent says it improved instruction following, long-context understanding, long-horizon tasks, and deep research over Hy4 preview, while the model is available through Tencent Cloud TokenHub, WorkBuddy, CodeBuddy, Yuanbao, and other services. The model weights and system card are still pending, and Tencent acknowledges a remaining gap with leading proprietary models.
Hy4 expands Tencent's model and product lineup with multimodal perception and computer operation, while its broad API and application availability makes the release directly usable by developers.
