Dayforce launches beta Claude connector for HR and payroll data
Dayforce launched a beta connector that brings HR, payroll and scheduling data into Claude, letting customers ask workforce questions in natural language and perform supported actions such as approving requests, filling shifts, submitting time off and engaging candidates. Built on the Model Context Protocol, the connector respects existing Dayforce permissions and requires validation and explicit human confirmation for changes; Dayforce expects general availability in 2027.
The integration gives Claude users direct, permission-controlled access to sensitive workforce operations, while its planned 2027 general availability makes this an early enterprise-AI deployment rather than a fully mature service.

Dayforce is bringing its HR, payroll and scheduling data into Anthropic’s Claude. A new Dayforce connector lets customers ask questions about their workforce in plain language inside Claude and take supported actions, the HR software company said on Tuesday.
Those actions include approving requests, filling open shifts, submitting time off and engaging candidates. The connector is built on the Model Context Protocol and is in beta, with general availability expected in 2027.
Every response respects the permissions customers have already set in Dayforce, according to the company. Changes to workforce data need validation and explicit human confirmation before they go through. Salesforce made its own products available inside Claude in August.
