Blackwall raises $100M at $2.2B valuation for AI-agent traffic security
Estonian web-traffic security company Blackwall announced a $100 million Series C led by AVP, valuing it at $2.2 billion, with Dawn Capital, MMC Ventures and Tera Ventures participating. Blackwall sells through hosting, cloud and managed-service providers, offering bot mitigation, DDoS protection, web application firewalls, traffic analysis and tools intended to distinguish legitimate AI agents from malicious bots. The Next Web reported that the company plans to use the proceeds to expand across 12 regions in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
The financing reflects substantial investor interest in web security infrastructure built around growing automated and AI-agent traffic, while Blackwall’s channel model gives hosting and cloud providers a way to package those tools for their own customers.

“Blackwall has built something rare: a security company that grows with the internet itself,” said Warda Shaheen, a general partner at AVP. “It is already the layer in front of millions of websites, and as more of the web’s traffic comes from agents, the company in that position becomes indispensable.”
AVP has led a $100 million funding round in Blackwall, the company announced on Tuesday. The round values the Estonian firm at $2.2 billion. Existing backers Dawn Capital, MMC Ventures and Tera Ventures also took part.
