AerosoarX partners on edge-AI drone collaboration
AerosoarX formally unveiled itself and signed a memorandum of understanding with Rajant and SiMa.ai to combine mesh communications, edge AI computing, and unmanned-vehicle system integration. Rajant will provide Kinetic Mesh technology for communications and information sharing, SiMa.ai will supply its Physical AI computing platform, and AerosoarX will integrate the technologies with its unmanned vehicles. TechNews reported that no integrated swarm-scale, communication-range, anti-jamming, or endurance results were disclosed.
The partnership targets onboard image and sensor processing, autonomous decisions, and coordinated drone communications, but its performance and production capabilities still require test results.
前經緯航太董事長，無人機國家隊隊長羅正方今日在台北 101 舉辦新公司「凌霄航太」（AerosoarX）的品牌亮相記者會，並與美國專長 Mesh 網路技術的 Rajant 和邊緣 AI 運算晶片公司 SiMa.ai 進行合作備忘錄簽署儀式，在接受媒體聯訪時，除了說明產品和未來走向外，也表示有信心從 2027 年起與 Anduril 等知名廠商競爭全球訂單。
羅正方退出經緯航太另起爐灶
在緯創透過子公司鼎創收購經緯航太股權後，原本經緯航太期望可透過緯創資金擴大台灣無人機產能，但因業務涉及台灣軍用無人機，遭中國商務部列入實體管制清單，為了避免主業遭到影響，緯創宣布退出軍用無人機業務，羅正方因此售出手中股份，並在今年初離開自己一手創立的公司。
