Skyworth launches AI range hood series
Skyworth unveiled an AI-enabled range hood series at its 2026 autumn product launch, with automatic smoke sensing, airflow adjustment, voice control and air-quality monitoring. The L8 Ultra is claimed to deliver 35 m³/min of airflow and 1500 Pa maximum static pressure, while L8 Pro and L8 models offer 33 and 30 m³/min respectively. Skyworth says its AI-LBI smoke-sensing system is 98% accurate, while dynamic particle capture removes 97% of PM2.5 and AI negative oxygen ions deliver 98% bacteria removal; these figures were not independently verified in the report.
The launch is a concrete consumer-AI appliance release that applies sensing and automated control to kitchen ventilation, though its headline performance figures remain vendor claims.
