Oracle plans to add Arm AGI CPU to OCI in fall 2027
Oracle announced plans to bring the Arm AGI CPU to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in fall 2027, targeting general cloud workloads and future agentic AI services. Ampere-based processors and NVIDIA Vera CPUs are already available on OCI, while Oracle also cited Arm support in Oracle Linux, Java, MySQL and cloud-native tools.
The planned deployment would extend OCI's existing Arm infrastructure to general workloads and future agentic AI services, although Oracle and Arm's performance and efficiency claims have not been independently verified.
