Jingrui AI salon spotlights premium AI filmmaking and long-form stories
Huajing Entertainment Group hosted the Jingrui AI Creation Competition industry salon in Beijing on October 28, where filmmakers and platform executives discussed moving beyond traffic-driven AI content toward stronger stories and longer-form production. Director MX-shell said he was independently producing the 90-minute AI feature Ash Begonia after The Zombie Cleaner surpassed 100 million views across the web, while speakers emphasized creative direction, stable commercial delivery and IP development. The report also states that the competition has a RMB 10 million prize pool, 265 award places and a November 22 submission deadline.
The salon brought together concrete AI filmmaking projects and platform perspectives around the industry's reported shift from scalable production toward premium storytelling and sustainable commercialization.
