Anthropic launches Claude Duet, a proactive agent app built on Opus 5.5
Anthropic announced Claude Duet on 21 October as a research preview, describing it as an AI agent app that works proactively for users rather than only responding to prompts. According to a GeekPark roundup citing IT Home, the app compiles cross-app priorities each day, sends proactive reminders and keeps working on delegated tasks in the background after the user steps away. It is built on Claude Opus 5.5 and ships as separate iOS and Android apps plus a claude.ai web version, with a waitlist opening first to US Pro and Max subscribers; during the preview it shares plan usage limits with other Claude features.
Duet places Anthropic alongside Meta's Muse and OpenAI's Dots in a push toward always-on, proactive assistant apps, a different product shape from prompt-driven chat.

10 月 22 日消息，Anthropic 昨日（10 月 21 日）宣布以研究预览版形式，推出全新应用 Claude Duet，定位为可主动工作的 AI 智能体（agent），加入由 Meta 的 Muse、以及 OpenAI 的 Dots 领衔的「全天候主动型 AI 助理」大战。
技能方面，该应用会每天整理跨应用的重要事项、主动提醒需要处理的问题，并在用户离开后继续在后台完成被委托的任务。
