Starship delivery robot injured nine bus passengers in Tallinn
A Starship Technologies delivery robot reportedly ran a red light in Tallinn, Estonia, on October 26, causing a bus to brake sharply and collide with the robot, injuring nine passengers. Bus cameras recorded the collision. COO Pepe Aaviksoo attributed the incident to dim lighting, a bright billboard, an ambiguous signal layout and a malfunctioning light sensor, while disputing the initial report that the robot left before police arrived.

开发该无人车的 Starship Technologies 公司将事故归咎于技术问题，公司首席运营官 Pepe Aaviksoo 表示，当时晚间光线昏暗，同时红绿灯后方的亮灯广告牌干扰了无人车的判断。他还说，从设备的视角看，公交车和车辆信号灯排列一致，这使得识别变得更加困难。

根据官网介绍，Starship 无人车为 L4 级无人车，支持 99% 自主移动，已完成超千万次交付，可以用来运送热食、杂货和工业用品等。
