Xiaomi 18 Fold adapting 'Legendary Moment' imaging, 17 Ultra Leica may add M10R look
IT之家 reported on 15 October, citing a post by Xiaomi camera division product manager @Bao_小李, that the Xiaomi 18 Fold foldable is being adapted to support the "Legendary Moment" imaging feature of the Xiaomi 18 Pro series. That feature is said to be built on an end-to-end imaging large model trained on millions of camera photographs, offering camera-grade depth-of-field bokeh and lossless cloud processing of original files. The same employee said the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition's "Leica Moment" mode is being adapted for the Leica M10R body look and camera-grade optical bokeh from Summicron 35mm and Summilux 75mm lenses.
"Legendary Moment" is Xiaomi's large-model-driven computational photography feature, and extending it to a foldable would carry that imaging capability beyond its slab flagships; claims that quality rivals professional cameras remain Xiaomi's own marketing.
