Approaching.AI raises over RMB 1.3 billion in Series B, 2.4 billion yuan raised in 2026
Chinese AI inference infrastructure firm Approaching.AI (趋境科技) announced a Series B round of more than RMB 1.3 billion, bringing its total 2026 fundraising to RMB 2.4 billion, according to DoNews, 量子位, 品玩, 智东西 and 雷峰网. The round was co-led by 浙财创新, 萧山资本, 工银投资, 中关村科学城, 星连资本 and 钱江世纪城, with 商汤科技, 网宿科技, 云创资本 and others following on and existing investor 尚势资本 adding to its stake. The company says proceeds will go to high-quality AI Token capacity expansion, ATaaS platform upgrades, inference stack and new product R&D, plus commercialization and delivery. It is the firm's second large round this year after a Series A closed in July 2026.
The size and pace of the round, roughly one round every two months in 2026, show heavy capital chasing of China's domestic inference and token-factory layer, with state and industrial investors plus strategic partners backing a Tsinghua-linked team.
