- Monday.com launches Harmony, a voice AI platform for sales calls
Monday.com has launched Harmony, a voice AI platform that calls sales leads, qualifies them and hands the best ones to human reps, aimed at mid-market and large companies in the US, UK, Australia and Singapore. Harmony runs on voice technology from OneAI, which Monday.com bought in May for $14.1M in cash according to a company filing, and uses a set of small models each trained for one job rather than a single large model; the company claims replies in about 200 milliseconds. Monday.com said Harmony reaches up to 70% of the people it calls but did not share how it measured this, and it did not publish prices; early user Bright Car Finance, a UK car finance broker, said Harmony helped it close 9% more deals in less than a year.
The Next Web · 🔥 7 - A successful AI pilot doesn't mean your AI strategy is working
The Next Web published an interview-based analysis with Zacharie Lahmi, founder of Ellis Partners, arguing that launching an AI pilot is relatively straightforward while integrating it reliably and at scale into business operations is far harder. The article cites McKinsey's global 2026 survey, in which only 37% of respondents said AI had improved their company's earnings, unchanged from the previous year, while eight in ten said AI had helped them become more productive at work. Lahmi recommends evaluating AI opportunities one business process at a time, estimating cost and resources and agreeing measurable success criteria before a pilot, and looking beyond sales and marketing to core operational processes.
The Next Web · 🔥 7 - Uvi raises $7.5M seed to give AI agents company context
Uvi, officially Naboo Research Ltd., emerged from stealth with $7.5 million in seed funding for software that feeds company knowledge to AI agents. SiliconANGLE reported CT Innovations led the round with Cardumen, Mana VC and 91 Ventures participating, while The Next Web said CT Innovations and Cardumen co-led with Gaingles VC also joining, so the lead-investor accounts differ. Uvi says its "context reasoning layer" links Slack, Jira, Confluence, codebases and meeting notes so agents built on models such as Claude, Gemini and GPT can understand past decisions, with answers limited to information employees can already access and each answer citing its source. The company said the money will fund a US team, more sales and further product work, and that Lemonade, monday.com and Melio already use it.
