   Supermicro Launches Liquid-Cooled NVIDIA Vera CPU Rack

   Supermicro launched the NVIDIA Vera CPU rack, a fully liquid-cooled system with 256 Vera CPUs that it says can provide 22,528 cores, 45,056 threads and support up to 22,500 parallel agent sandboxes. The rack can operate independently or pair with the Supermicro NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72, and Supermicro also offers air-cooled 1U and 2U systems. Performance, scale and security capabilities described in the announcement are vendor claims.

   Supermicro, Nokia and NVIDIA detail AI-RAN edge deployment

   TechNews reports that Supermicro and Nokia are deploying an AI-RAN solution that combines Nokia RAN technology with NVIDIA Aerial RAN Computer and Supermicro AI-optimized infrastructure. The system supports modular CPU and GPU configurations across base stations, MSOs and aggregation sites, with Supermicro also offering NVIDIA ARC servers for distributed, centralized and core-hub deployments. The vendors say shared telecom and AI workloads can provide low-latency services and improve spectrum efficiency, automation and energy use, but no independent benchmarks are provided.

   Lite-On shows 800 VDC power racks and 1.2 MW configurations at NVIDIA OCP

   Lite-On Technology took part in NVIDIA's MGX ecosystem ceremony at the 2026 OCP Global Summit, where it displayed an 800 VDC Power Rack and an 800V-to-50V Power Brick covering rack-level power delivery and server-side conversion. Lite-On says the 800 VDC architecture addresses rising data-center power, with the power brick converting high-voltage DC to the 50 V servers need. At its own booth, the company used a virtual interactive rack to show 330 kW, 880 kW and 1.2 MW configurations, illustrating demand from high-power racks toward megawatt-scale computing.

   ASUS launches XA P2N-E2 MGX server with dual RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs

   ASUS announced the XA P2N-E2, a 2U server built on NVIDIA's MGX architecture, at the 2026 OCP Global Summit. It pairs a Vera CPU with up to two RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell server-edition GPUs and is pitched by ASUS for agentic AI and reinforcement-learning workloads, including code execution, tool calling and sandboxed compute. ASUS also showed other systems, among them the Vera Rubin NVL72-based XA VR721-E3, the air-cooled-CPU/liquid-cooled-GPU XR R1I12B-M1BHFS, the dual EPYC 9006 1U RS700A-E14B-R16U and the AMD-platform air-cooled AI system ESC8000A-E13P.

   Foxconn shows NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 and MGX racks at OCP 2026

   Foxconn used OCP Global Summit 2026 to show a new generation of AI Rack technology spanning compute systems, high-speed interconnect, power and liquid cooling, TechNews reported. Its subsidiary Ingrasys exhibited the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 platform and full support for Vera Rubin systems based on NVIDIA MGX; Foxconn said inference performance per watt can reach up to 10 times that of NVIDIA's Blackwell platform, a vendor claim not independently verified. Foxconn also showed a Vera CPU Rack compute tray supporting up to 256 Vera CPUs and 22,500 sandboxes per rack, HGX Rubin NVL8, an MGX 4U system with RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs, and FIT's 1.6T OSFP and 12.8T XPO interconnect plus 480kW liquid-cooled busbar.
