  1. Accenture AI report on African agriculture flagged for citation errors

GPTZero said an Accenture and IE University report on AI in African agriculture and global value chains, published in November 2025, contains multiple factual errors and 15 citation errors, including inaccurate paper titles and author names. Examples cited include an organization referenced under two different names that appear not to exist, and a claim of 99% detection accuracy for cocoa swollen shoot disease in Colombia and Ecuador attributed to a source that mentions neither country; Accenture said errors were human error, not AI hallucination, and that a corrected version would be republished, while IE University said its authors are re-reviewing sources.

  2. AWS, Anthropic, OpenAI and Google race to deploy forward-deployed engineers

AWS, Anthropic, OpenAI and Google have all recently announced expansions of their forward-deployed engineer (FDE) programs, sending specialists to help customers realize AI benefits, according to CNBC and TechRadar. TechRadar reported that OpenAI is backing its FDE business with a $4 billion investment and AWS is footing a $1 billion bill, while Anthropic plans to train 10,000 specialist engineers by the end of 2027. Citing Lightcast research, it said US FDE job ads rose from about 200 in each of 2023 and 2024 to roughly 1,200 in 2025 and 7,300 in the first nine months of 2026 — a 6x year-over-year rise — with three of the top four advertisers being consultancies Deloitte, Accenture and KPMG, and Google the only tech firm.

  3. Digital-worker firm Kingwow refiles for Hong Kong IPO, three-year losses hit RMB 531M

Zhuhai Kingwow Artificial Intelligence has filed again for a main-board listing in Hong Kong, after its first application, dated Dec 15, 2025, lapsed at the six-month mark. The prospectus says that, measured by licences, it had deployed more than 2 million AI digital employees by end-June 2026, serving over 1,600 customers including more than 270 banks and over 130 securities firms. Yet it posted cumulative losses of about RMB 531 million in 2023-2025 and a RMB 109 million net loss in the first half of 2026; the article attributes this to a project-based custom-delivery model (76.9% of 2025 revenue, 44.2% gross margin), shrinking subscription revenue, sales costs reaching 92.1% of revenue, and customer retention falling from 74% in 2023 to 60% with average deal size dropping from RMB 380,000 to RMB 150,000.

  4. Enterprises tighten AI token budgets as cost anxiety outpaces value measurement

A 钛媒体 analysis surveys enterprise "bill anxiety" over AI token costs: Microsoft reportedly cut its internal annual budget for Anthropic's Claude by more than a third, and Meta was reported to have halved Claude Code users from roughly 60,000 to 30,000. In China, a viral post about abruptly revoked token quotas — which media linked to MediaTek, though the company only said it encourages AI tool use — fueled the debate. KPMG and Deloitte surveys cited in the piece say cost monitoring is maturing while value measurement lags; Deloitte found 60.4% of firms lack a systematic value framework and the share unable to calculate AI ROI rose from 35.8% to 44.4%.
