   Taiwan's 24-company coalition to release ROS 2 robot integration guide on Nov 12

   Taiwan's Industrial Development Administration, working with the Institute for Information Industry and the Precision Machinery Research and Development Center, will hold the ROBOT READY 2026 forum on November 12, where 24 partner companies plan to release a joint introductory guide to general-purpose robot systems built on ROS 2. The guide is described as covering ROS 2 development practice, hardware interfaces, communication protocols and common algorithms, and extending to robot foundation models and compliance with European and U.S. market regulations. A hardware exhibition is expected to gather 17 companies, with Asia Optical showing 3D lidar for the first time, Dongching Technology demonstrating a "Robotics-in-a-Box" platform with a robot arm, Sintai displaying a wheel-legged robot on its Arc computing platform, and Star Science International planning an AI quadruped robot built on its LocalMind AI platform.
