  1. HPE scales monday.com no-code workflows and AI agents

HPE is expanding the use of monday.com no-code applications across company workflows, including an IT ticketing app assembled in 24 hours and an executive dashboard. The deployment changed executive status reviews from weekly to monthly, while a configured AI agent pulls Teams attendance data, maps attendees and flags missing HR records. HPE also governs adoption through user training and separate AI credit allowances for groups.

  2. NVIDIA adds Confidential Bare Metal to its Confidential Computing lineup

NVIDIA announced Confidential Bare Metal, a new deployment option within NVIDIA Confidential Computing that it says lets frontier model builders run sensitive workloads on dedicated third-party infrastructure while retaining control of their models and data. NVIDIA says the option adds platform security controls that protect data in transit, measure platform integrity and enforce hardware-level access restrictions, and it now sits alongside Confidential Containers and Confidential Virtual Machines. Support extends to Grace Blackwell NVL72, HGX Rubin NVL8 and DGX Rubin NVL8 systems and will integrate with NVIDIA DSX OS, while Cohere plans to add it to Cohere Model Vault and Google Cloud is extending support to A4X Max instances powered by GB300 NVL72 systems, according to the company.

  3. NVIDIA unveils modular DSX POD AI factory design

NVIDIA introduced the DSX POD reference design at GTC Berlin, packaging seven Vera Rubin racks, cabling, cooling connections, and other infrastructure into a modular container that is integrated and validated before delivery. NVIDIA says this can reduce on-site deployment at a ready facility from six months to as little as 14 days. The company is working with Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Schneider Electric, and Vertiv on global deliveries planned for early 2027.

  4. NVIDIA Introduces DSX POD Modular AI-Factory Design

At GTC Berlin on October 21, NVIDIA introduced DSX POD, a reference design for partner-built Vera Rubin AI factories housed in modular containers and integrated and validated before delivery. NVIDIA says that, when power, cooling, networking and other supporting infrastructure are already prepared at the site, deployment can be reduced from six months to as little as 14 days. The company says this could help customers begin generating production tokens and earning revenue sooner, while the earliest partner deliveries are planned worldwide for early 2027. Partners include Anduril, Armada, Bull, Crusoe, DayOne, Dell Technologies, Delta, Eaton, Foxconn, GIGABYTE, HPE, Lenovo, Pegatron, Quanta Cloud Technology, Schneider Electric, Vertiv and Wistron. NVIDIA also introduced DSX OS, an open-source, modular developer preview of internal data-center operations software.

  5. HPE's Spaceborne Computer-4 to run first lunar HPC benchmarks and AI tests

Astrolab plans to send its uncrewed FLIP rover to the lunar south pole on the Griffin-1 mission later in 2026, carrying HPE's Spaceborne Computer-4, according to Tom's Hardware and IT之家 AI. HPE says the fanless, self-contained module will run what it calls the first high performance computing benchmarks on the lunar surface, including HPCG, along with large language model retrieval-augmented generation, vision inference, LiDAR processing and an AI services container. NASA is to run its FLUID neural network and test a tuned LLM, while Deloitte tests its Silent Shield intrusion-detection system; HPE's "first" claims and the launch schedule remain vendor assertions.

  6. NVIDIA Vera CPUs draw Nebius, Nscale and other European infrastructure partners

NVIDIA's blog said Nebius, Nscale and Verda are among global technology partners building the next wave of infrastructure around its Vera CPUs, aimed at agentic computing workloads. NVIDIA says agents retrieve information, run software tools, execute code and evaluate results, and claims each step depends on fast CPU processing, with Vera designed to sustain that speed while running thousands of tasks simultaneously. Server makers Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Supermicro and Bull are building Vera-based systems, and NVIDIA says data-processing companies including SAP, ClickHouse, Cloudera, Elastic and Starburst observed strong results on Vera in early testing for analytical, extract-transform-and-load and semantic search workloads.

  7. AMD unveils Helion agentic AI rack blueprint with up to 32,768 Zen 6 CPU cores

AMD announced Helion at the OCP summit, a rack-scale reference design built on the Open Compute Project's ORv4 spec and the open-platform approach of its Helios rack, pitched as an open blueprint for agentic AI rather than a system it will sell itself. A CPU-only configuration can hold up to 128 of AMD's 256-core sixth-generation EPYC "Venice" (Zen 6) processors, reaching 32,768 cores for hyperscalers, while a mixed configuration supports up to 16 Instinct MI350P GPUs and 102 Tbps of networking for enterprise deployments. AMD says it will contribute the specification to OCP, with Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Supermicro and Foxconn among partners developing systems planned for November 2026, though one report points to first-half 2027 availability and no pricing was disclosed.

  8. HPE confirms Nvidia will offer a Rubin PCIe GPU

According to a presentation HPE shared with The Next Platform and other outlets, HPE has confirmed that its ProLiant DL585a Gen13 server supports an Nvidia Rubin PCIe GPU. The existing Rubin GPU is a data-center part in the SMX form factor drawing up to 2300W, so the report says using that version in a PCIe card would require at least halving the GPU's scale and sharply reducing clocks; the PCIe part could instead sit in the RTX PRO line using the rumored GR202 die. The DL585a Gen13 is a 10U system with two AMD EPYC 9006 processors, support for eight dual-width or 16 single-width expansion cards, and 16 EDSFF E3.S (Thin) drive bays.
