   Shenzhen standards institute launches industry AI agent

   The Shenzhen Institute of Standards Technology launched its first standards-industry AI agent using the Enterprise WeChat and WorkBuddy ecosystem. The agent has 16 expert capabilities and 10 core skills for finding, managing, and applying standards. The institute also described using Agent and Skill workflows to support document-heavy work and organize knowledge.

   Tencent shifts AI focus toward WorkBuddy and WeChat distribution

   TMTPost reports that WorkBuddy reached 32.35 million monthly active users across multiple platforms in September, ranking first among office agents in QuestMobile data it cited. The AI assistant was integrated with Enterprise WeChat on October 14, allowing authorized access to messages, documents, meetings and cloud storage. The analysis also describes Tencent consolidating its model teams and shifting priority toward WorkBuddy, while Green Bubble short dramas grew to 89.68 million weekly active users in early October.
