- Baseten launches Grid, Sandboxes, and Loops for AI infrastructure
Baseten announced three infrastructure releases: Grid enters public preview as a gateway, intelligent router, and guardrail layer for coding models; Sandboxes enter public preview as stateful, VM-isolated agent environments; and Loops becomes generally available for serverless supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning. The vendor said Grid is compatible with tools including Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and Pi, while Loops supports Tinker-compatible workflows and direct deployment through Dedicated Inference. Baseten also cited OpenEvidence, Datadog, and Opendoor as customers using different combinations of its training, inference, and routing products.
Baseten Blog · 🔥 3 - Marble Cognition raises $3.75M for workflow-capturing AI agents
Munich startup Marble Cognition launched its Coworkers AI agents alongside a $3.75 million pre-seed round led by Heartcore and Seedcamp, according to SiliconANGLE AI. Its desktop app captures employee screenshots, clicks, and keystrokes, then converts them into structured process maps that agents can execute across existing software stacks. Marble says recorded data is anonymized and can remain in a customer’s private cloud or on-premises environment, while early adopters reported efficiency gains including a reported 90% reduction in case-handling time at one financial-services firm.
SiliconANGLE AI · 🔥 0 - Salesforce to Require Registration of External AI Agents, With Per-Action Fees Planned
Salesforce plans to require customers to register externally built AI agents, starting around November according to its website and possibly as soon as next month, The Information reported. Each action an agent takes inside Salesforce apps would count as a billable “interaction,” though no prices have been announced and Salesforce has not yet begun charging such tolls; the company describes registration as a security measure giving each agent its own identity and narrower data permissions, and customers still pay model providers such as Anthropic or OpenAI separately. New customers would get a three-month grace period after pricing is announced, existing customers would not be affected until contract renewal, and a “headless license” option would offer unlimited agent usage, according to the report.
The Information · 🔥 0 - Anthropic adds OpenTelemetry agent traces to Claude Platform in public beta
Anthropic announced on its Claude blog that Claude Managed Agents, the Messages API and Claude SDKs can now send OpenTelemetry (OTel) traces to any OTel tool, letting users follow each step an agent takes, including model calls, tool use and MCP server calls. After adding a destination in the Claude Console, every agent turn and model call arrives in an observability tool as a standard OpenTelemetry trace with latency, tokens and IDs, while the SDKs export traces automatically. The capability is in public beta, and Anthropic says the traces follow OpenTelemetry GenAI semantic conventions and work with Grafana Cloud, Honeycomb, Sentry, Splunk, as well as Datadog, Langfuse, LangSmith and PostHog.
