  1. Meta's Muse Allows Explicit Sexting, and OnlyFans Creators Are Angry

WIRED reports that Meta's always-on AI agent Muse, which manages calendars and email, also allows adult users of its 18-and-over app to hold explicit sexual conversations—though it generates text only, not images or video. Meta spokesperson Tracy Clayton told WIRED that a private, one-to-one conversation between an adult and an individualized AI agent on an adults-only platform is "very different" from marketing services on a social media platform. OnlyFans creators complained that their Instagram accounts are often restricted while Meta's AI is allowed to talk dirty, and some also questioned how Muse was trained and whether performers were compensated for their data.

  2. Bluesky expands Attie with AI 'social vibe coding' for games and mini-sites

Bluesky announced at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 that it is expanding Attie, its experimental AI tool, so users can prompt their way to small social apps such as games, polls, quizzes and dashboards and share them as standalone websites. The creations are tied to a creator's ATProto identity, and users can bring their own AI model or use open-weight options. CEO Toni Schneider called it "social vibe coding or vibe coding for your community"; hands-on reports from The Verge and IT之家 found the generated apps mostly lightweight novelties, though one reporter's simple poll took a few minutes to generate.

  3. ICANN's new TLD applications are flooded with AI names; .agent draws OpenAI, Google, Meta

ICANN published its latest round of generic top-level domain applications: 1,615 bids from 481 applicants, with AI-related strings the most contested — 10 companies including Meta and OpenAI applied for .agent, seven for .agi and six for .asi. OpenAI filed for 15 TLDs (including .chatgpt, .codex, .gpt and .openai), Google for more than 30 (including .mcp, .api and .agent), Meta for 21, while Anthropic sought only .anthropic and .claude. Reports differ on the number of brand applications (333 vs. 345); ICANN's Prioritization Draw is due in the first half of 2027, with domains unlikely to go live before late 2027.
