Tencent SSV announced on October 19 that the WorkBuddy education public-benefit edition is live for teachers across China, with no regional or grade-level restrictions. After activation, each teacher can claim 2,000 credits per month for 12 consecutive months; credits refill automatically on the first of each month, and free models remain available after they run out. Tencent SSV and the WorkBuddy team say they worked with Peking University and Beijing Normal University to break education research — covering instructional design, courseware, open-class refinement, differentiated teaching, home-school communication and student psychology — into more than 100 education experts teachers can call directly, alongside five new tools for creative teaching, scripted classes, courseware, animated demos and material editing. Individual teachers apply through the Tencent SSV WeChat account menu with identity details, with activation within three working days of approval.
