Edifier's WE-BASS earbuds pack Doubao and DeepSeek AI
Edifier's WE-BASS clip-on wireless earbuds are now on sale on JD.com in a "Wave White" colorway for 399 yuan. The earbuds use a flexible nickel-titanium alloy wire frame and a 12mm long-throw bass driver with the company's EAC acoustic chamber 2.0 and dynamic bass compensation, offering 5 hours of playback per bud and 20 hours total with the case, plus Bluetooth 6.1, dual-device switching and IP55 dust/water resistance. Edifier says the earbuds connect to both Doubao and DeepSeek models for AI question answering, and add a translation feature covering 21 languages with face-to-face and side-by-side modes, along with AI deep neural network noise cancellation and wind-noise detection.
It is another example of Chinese model makers being embedded into low-cost consumer audio hardware, extending their reach into everyday devices.
