AISpeech Turbo e-paper tablet opens pre-orders at 2,899 yuan
AISpeech's Turbo e-paper tablet is now available for pre-order on JD.com at a pre-sale price of 2,899 yuan. It has an 8.4-inch "soft-color paper-like eye-care" display with a 60Hz refresh rate that the company claims is 10 times faster than e-ink, 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, a Wacom electromagnetic stylus, 100% sRGB coverage and 91.36% blue-light filtering. Internals include an 8-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a 4,500mAh battery rated for about 8 hours, plus third-party app support, 4G with 24GB of bundled data, AI features such as meeting categorization, schedule reminders and knowledge management, and an 8MP rear camera.
It shows how Chinese e-paper devices are adding AI office assistants to differentiate a niche hardware category.
