The article also describes Kingsoft Office's WPS Comate being deployed at Yunnan Energy Group-affiliated Hengtong Coal from August 2026, where a digital worker takes on procurement data reconciliation and cuts a task of more than two hours to minutes. It reports that one run hit the 1 million-token single-conversation context limit, interrupting the task, and that business could not proceed normally for nearly ten days; the team then split the job across five coordinated conversations.
The article argues that whether enterprise AI works depends on clearly articulating the processes, data and judgment rules scattered across employee experience, not just buying models or compute.
