Ultrahuman Ring Pro Launches in the US Amid Oura Patent Dispute
Ultrahuman's Ring Pro is now available for $479 through Best Buy, Target, Walmart and the company's website, with a broader rollout planned across more than 1,000 Target and Walmart stores. CNET reports that the ring's core health-tracking features do not require a subscription and that battery life reaches up to 15 days, although optional PowerPlugs can cost up to $6.90 per month. The product also includes Ultrahuman's AI health assistant Jade, while workout heart-rate readings require a third-party device for reliability.
The launch gives US consumers a subscription-free smart-ring option with an AI health assistant, but its retail rollout coincides with Oura's patent complaint seeking a US ban.

Ultrahuman hasn’t had an easy time getting its smart rings into the US, but on Wednesday, it announced that the Ring Pro is officially available for purchase on the Best Buy, Target, Walmart and Ultrahuman websites and in 300 Best Buy stores. In the coming weeks, it will roll out in over 1,000 Target and Walmart stores.
Priced at $479, the Ring Pro requires no extra subscription to track heart rate, heart rate variability, skin temperature, sleep, movement, stress, recovery and your circadian rhythm.
However, this launch comes just six days after competitor Oura filed a patent infringement complaint against Ultrahuman, seeking to ban its ring in the US.

A previous ban in the US
Oura was actually successful in getting Ultrahuman’s smart ring, then the Ring Air, banned in the US in August 2025, following a US International Trade Commission ruling after Oura filed a patent infringement complaint with the ITC in March 2024. This was for patents that were not included in the most recent filing.
