AI-assisted Galaxy-Android port discontinued
Developer Mohammed Huzaifa announced on r/AndroidNativePorts that he is discontinuing Galaxy-Android, an unofficial, AI-assisted Android port of Super Mario Galaxy, along with his unofficial Modern Warfare 2 port. He said both projects would remain downloadable from GitHub for 24 hours after the announcement, citing pressure on his mental health and personal well-being. Android Authority tested the latest Galaxy-Android release and found serious bugs on the ANBERNIC RG 55G1, AYANEO Pocket S Mini, Samsung Galaxy S26 FE and vivo X500 Pro Max.
The discontinuation provides a concrete example of an AI-assisted independent software project ending amid unresolved stability problems and personal pressure on its developer.

That Super Mario Galaxy Android port is dead, but you have a few hours to download it
You can still download this unofficial port for now, but there's no shortage of bugs.
