miHoYo invests in two AI chip companies
On October 19, miHoYo joined Mingxin Qirui’s more-than-RMB 400 million Series A financing. Three days later, Jiutian Ruixin disclosed RMB 1 billion in financing over six months, with miHoYo joining as a new investor. On October 19, miHoYo also completed a corporate registration change that ended its 49% stake in brain-computer-interface company Lingweiyuisi, although it did not disclose the reason for the exit. On October 22, miHoYo and academic and research partners launched and open-sourced the GameScaling series of game models.
The report presents miHoYo’s chip investments alongside its game-model work as part of an effort involving models, research pipelines and underlying computing. It also says that equity investment does not establish a procurement relationship, and no public evidence shows that chips from Mingxin Qirui or Jiutian Ruixin have been integrated into miHoYo’s models or games. The report interprets the portfolio changes as a possible narrowing of investment toward AI rather than a company-confirmed strategic shift.

10月19日,芯片公司铭芯启睿宣布完成超4亿元A轮融资,米哈游出现在跟投名单中;
