China Telecom takes stake in Hefei Shusuan as registered capital jumps to 7.05B yuan
Citing business-registry data from Tianyancha, 36Kr reported that Hefei Shusuan Technology Co. added China Telecom Corporation as a shareholder, while its registered capital rose from 20 million yuan to about 7.05 billion yuan, an increase of roughly 35,172 percent. The company was founded in February 2024, has Zhang Yunlei as its legal representative, and lists cloud-computing equipment services, an artificial intelligence public data platform, quantum-computing technology services and intelligent control system integration in its business scope. After the change it is held jointly by Hefei Big Data Asset Operations Co. and the newly added China Telecom, with individual stakes not disclosed in the report.
The filing points to a state telecom operator taking a position in a young company whose registered business includes an AI public data platform, though the change is reported from registry data and not confirmed by either company.
