Redmi K100 to ship with HyperOS 4 and MiMo-powered Super Xiaoai 2.0
Xiaomi announced that the Redmi K100 will ship with its HyperOS 4 operating system, featuring the same "life-feel aesthetic" and soft-light glass effect as its flagship phones and what the company calls a smoother experience, according to IT之家. HyperOS 4 will include Super Xiaoai 2.0 powered by the Xiaomi MiMo large model, with AI experiences such as convenient memory, plus cross-device interoperability that lets tablets and PCs directly handle phone data and what Xiaomi describes as comprehensive privacy protection. IT之家 reports the phone will also carry a 10,000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and D2 gaming display chip, and a 6.83-inch screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and 3500 nits brightness.
The announcement is notable mainly because HyperOS 4's assistant is powered by Xiaomi's in-house MiMo model, though the AI features are described only in vendor terms.
