Kvartira 47 is an AI-assisted browser room simulation
AI summary
Creator FlaccidWizard69 presented Kvartira 47, a browser-based Eastern European bedroom simulation featuring changing weather, time of day, street activity, and a cat. The creator says it was built with plain JavaScript and WebGL2 without a framework, using image masking, relighting, and a small traffic simulation. They also claim Claude Opus 5.5 produced the code while GPT 5.6 Sol produced the graphics, but those attribution details and the implementation remain unverified self-reports.
In-depth insight
The project provides a concrete creative demonstration of AI-assisted coding and graphics, while its creator reports that the simulation stalled or failed in a browser on a TV.
| Kvartira 47: a small bedroom in an Eastern European panel block, early 2000s. The day goes by, the weather moves in fronts (rain, snow, storms), traffic and people run in the street below, a cat does what she wants and there's an old beige box PC with a CRT and a radio with real internet stations. I made this With Claude and GPT Plain JavaScript + WebGL2, no framework. The code with Claude Opus 5.5 (medium), the graphics with GPT 5.6 Sol (medium); the pictures are cut up, masked and relit in code, and the street is a small traffic simulation. I'd love to hear if this runs ok on your device and what can i improve on it. I tried it on my TV but it kills the browser 😞 submitted by /u/FlaccidWizard69 [link] [comments] |
