Xiaomi Auto rolls out HyperOS 1.18 OTA with urban assisted-driving upgrades for SU7 and YU7
Xiaomi Auto announced that the OTA Xiaomi HyperOS 1.18 update is now available, bringing urban assisted-driving improvements to the SU7 and YU7; models equipped with Xiaomi HAD can upgrade. Xiaomi's promotional points say acceleration and braking are smoother with less abrupt stopping, lane changes are more natural and precise with gentler detours, and the system can sense traffic-flow changes for more efficient intersections. IT之家 previously reported that the YU7 received the 1.18.0 push on October 12, in which the optimized "end-to-end assisted driving" was renamed "full-domain navigation assist," with parking-space-level navigation covering more shopping districts and office buildings.
It is a version update through which Xiaomi Auto advances urban assisted-driving capability by OTA, but the claimed driving improvements are vendor statements not yet backed by independent testing.
